3 of the biggest brands in the world converge in one place to make a huge statement to the world: “we can give you a new way to experience music”!!!

Last night in Paris, HP announced their new Connected Music service to the world under the starlight of an exclusive and private No Doubt concert.

Connected Music is a service that will come bundled on to various HP devices (including their very awesome Envy X2) that will offer consumers a variety of new offerings. These include free streaming of music to their devices for 90 days, and 10 free MP3 downloads per month for 3 months.

Most unique of all, avenues for consumers to not only interact with their favorite artists, but also to influence the sound and make-up of upcoming albums from some of these bands.

The charcoal fueling this fire is thanks to an exclusive partnership with Universal Music, the world’s biggest music label. Along with access to the artists stable of work, Universal will also be giving consumers the chance to chat with artists over social media and for competition winners, the chance to meet and spend time with the artists or attend exclusive concerts. An example given: “Imagine going shopping with J-Lo in Paris”.

And the actual music? Best enjoyed on an HP device which benefits from it’s collaboration with Beats By Dre sound. The new Envy X2, an Ultrabook which aren’t usually known for ramping up sound, sports an awesome sound bar that pumps out volume most full-fledged desktops will blush at.
