Probably just to prove they can, Nikon have released their smallest camera ever and it’s called the “Coolpix S01”.

It weighs only 96 grams and measures 77 x 51 x 17mm. Most of the space saving came in because they left out an SD card and opted instead for 7GB of on-board storage, and made use of a 1/3” type CCD sensor.

The 10MP camera also has minimal dials and controls on it. Instead settings and set-up is done on the 2.5-inch interactive touch-screen display.
