Officially the most exclusive Opel ever made is on it’s way to South Africa with a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine under the bonnet, tweaked to produce 154 kW and 250Nm of torque. That’ll sort the 0-100 in 6.8 seconds and go on to do 230km/h.
They’ll be in SA in limited numbers so don’t get too excited to ever see one, but if you can’t live without the feeling of knowing you’ve been near one, spend some time in the East of Jozi, you’re bound to come right.
Visual changes include the addition of a front lip spoiler, a new rear roof-mounted spoiler, dual exhaust pipes and dark-painted 18-inch alloy wheels.
