Blackberry “free internet” snobbishness be gone! The rest of South Africa can now enjoy flat rate internet!

Well not yet, but pretty soon thanks to Nashua who have announced that they’re rolling out a flat rate data package called Xtreme Data for certain Nokia phones and Smartphones.

What this means is that when your Blackberry toting ponce of a co-worker barges in and starts boasting that he only pays R59 a month for free internet (don’t bother explaining the contradiction to them, they just don’t get it), you can now reply “yeah? Well me too”.

Available initially only on the Nokia X2-01, the Nokia C3, the Nokia N8, Nokia E5 and Nokia E7, yes all 12 people who own these will benefit, the package is expected to become available to other Symbian, Windows Phone, iOS and Android devices sometime in the future.

Massive news for the thumb generation, terrible news for Blackberry.
