At the Delhi Auto Show, Renault unveiled the KWID concept, an off-road car with a built in Quadcopter. The Quadcopter, which takes off from the back of the car, is meant to help see obstacles and traffic ahead.
The KWID touts a 1.2 litre turbocharged engine and like many of Renault’s latest concepts, is prioritised for fuel-efficiency. The car is Z.E. Ready, which means that it caters for battery use, and it has dual-clutch transmission, which helps it to cut down on consumption.
This “companion driving” that Renault is going for surely is an interesting idea, and it will completely change how we drive if they can pull it off.
