Fresh on the heels of the Galaxy SIII, Samsung aren’t slowing down at all, quickly releasing the new Galaxy Note II. Granted I don’t think it got as much uptake as they wanted in the beginning, but there were a few users who took to the awkward size of the Galaxy Note and made it their daily mobile bitch.

The Note II is looking to be quite formidable from a productivity and creative angle as this exclusive video shows. I’ll know more on Thursday when I play with it myself, but in the meantime I’ve cut up the 13 minute video into the parts you have to watch. Enjoy.

Specs
Firstly the Note II boasts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display with a 1.6 GHZ QuadCore processor running 2GB of RAM and the long-awaited Android 4.1 JellyBean. Looks rapid, capable and seamless. Everything you want from a touch device.

Check how far Samsung is going to show that the new Note is not only about productivity and business meetings, but that the large screen is actually very cool as a media machine too.

Some brilliant interaction is shown off with pictures and videos here.

As with the last note, you get an S Pen which you’re going to have to work hard to not lose.

But the abilities of the pen this time are out of this world. Skip to minute 3 and watch AirView. Enter by hovering. You’ll see what I mean. This is a nice feature that will see you not having to make any unnecessary clicks.

Bugger Siri and screw S Voice. This is a search solution that makes sense to me.

The new Galaxy Note II looks like it’s trying hard to bring back the days of the paper note pad, and I’ve got a good feeling about that. Not only does it make your interaction with your device that more natural, but it’ll remind us all again how a pen and pencil works and what our handwriting looks like.

Final verdict reserved till the launch on Thursday night. Watch this space.
