After looking at the specs of the newly announced Samsung Mega which goes on sale in Europe in May, I can only conclude that Samsung hates its customers and has completely lost its marbles.
Here’s what it doesn’t have:
A stylus
An HD screen
Two features you would expect on one of Samsung’s, and the world’s biggest “phones”. It has a 6.3-inch screen for god’s sake, and it doesn’t feature a stylus or a proper looking screen? The mind boggles.
Another concern is that a screen that size is going to sap battery power like a herd of elephants at an office water-cooler.
And yet they persist. With a 720p resolution, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM, and Android 4.2 “Jelly Bean” inside. The real-life consequences are a device which doesn’t have the beef of the new Galaxy S4, won’t fit in your pocket and requires both hands to operate. And using both hands means no texting while driving. What’s the point?
They have used the words “value” when referring to the Samsung Mega. So that means it’ll be cheap?
