More of what to expect from the Microsoft Surface

I’ve spent the last two weeks playing on the Samsung Series 7 tablet which came bundled to me with Microsoft’s awesome Wedge mouse and Keyboard. Quick review: If this experience is anything to go by, we have a lot of fun ahead of us when the Microsoft Surface launches later this week.

Not only does it look wafer thing and portable, the Microsoft Surface promises users a whole new way of interacting with the new Windows 8 OS.

From Microsoft Surface, expect:

A 10.6-inch Full HD display
A 64 or 128GB option
Pen input (which is something that the Samsung Series 7 could do with. Playing on the traditional Windows homepage is painful with fat fingers)
A 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 Processor with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 4GB RAM
USB 3.0
Two full HD cameras, front and rear
