The Xbox One is here, the new gaming console from Xbox. It’s not called the 720 as the rumors would have had you believe, and it looks more like a Playstation than ever. Not that that’s a bad thing. Not at all.
It’s a completely new redesign, a whole new Kinect and a new controller that looks just like a child’s play thing. Perfect!
Specs? An eight-core processor and AMD Graphics, 8GB of RAM, a Blu-ray player (weird?), USB 3.0 and a stock 500GB hard drive. That’s the power of 3 consoles, all in one.
It obviously uses the computing software of Microsoft, it bundles in Skype connectivity and promises Live TV integration. Connected gaming is going to the next level.
Kinect has also gotten a reworking, improving accuracy with HD 1080p camera and Skype connectivity. It’ll pick up your heartbeat, apparently.
Now let us bask in the glory of the Xbox One and wait for a review unit.
